Note holders

I saw this idea on Sister's Stuff during the summer and decided to make one for my mom and one for my mother-in-law for Christmas. My mom has a slight obsession with post-its (she got that from her dad) . . . so I figured it would be perfect for her.You just need one of those plastic 4"x6" frames (turned on it's back instead of upright) and scrapbook paper and embelishments.

Then, attach the post-it pad to the top - once the post-its are gone, they can just add another stack and keep using the holder.

  1. I was trying to figure this out when I saw it on Sisters Stuff. Then I zoomed in on your picture and could see the scrapbook paper is inside the frame...that way the post-its can still stick. Right?

  2. Cute! I should make one of these for my mom. Her desk is a burial ground for post-its :)

  3. No I don't have a post it obsession! Ok maybe I do. But they are such a handy little thing. It works great on my nightstand.

  4. How do the post-its stay on? I haven't tried it yet, but I can imagine that being held on by the back sticky would cause it to fall off because it would be too heavy. Or does it stick?

  6. Can someone please tell me how the post it pad stays on and is replaceable? It looks like little corner holders are glued onto the frame....???

  7. Dazed n confused...I used scrapbooking photo corners on the bottoms and double sided tape at the top to keep them on.
