JoAnns has the girl shaped peg people that have a dress shaped body, but Michael's had the boy shaped ones that are straight from the neck down.
Here are mine:
They took 3 days of naps to paint . . . and I found them quite addicting. The pirate seems out of place since the rest are "characters." I think my favorite is Robin. You can't tell from the picture, but the back and sides are yellow for his cape. I started with Harry since I was copying the image from the post above, but then I ventured out and made some of my own.

Wow, those are amazing. I'm going cross-eyed just imagining trying to pain those. Great job! I better not let my son see, or he'll be asking for them.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I tried making munchkins for my kids Wizard of Oz play mat I made them. It was an epic fail. How did you make them shiny?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, soooo cute! :) I want some...I mean...ADAM wants some!
ReplyDeleteThese are SO cute! I really like this idea. They're defiantly on my to do list. I've painted peg dolls for my daughter, but I think these are so fun.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the spiderman one...holy cow....I can't believe you painted all those webs. Darling.
ReplyDeleteoh dear, I hate painting BUT I think I need to make these for my boys. They'd LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea!
You did a great job! I did a post about them on my blog here: http://www.mycrazybliss.com/2011/08/peg-people.html
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun work you done here. It is easy to create with the different woods, and ice cream sticks also. My sister done it with the plastic papers. I will share it as soon as possible in my blog.
