I found this idea through Two Peas in a Bucket . . .
She uses 16 paper strips that are 1"x6" . . . but for some reason, I couldn't get 16 of the paper strips to work. They kept overlapping eachother, and it was too crowded. So I took a few off and ended up using 12 strips for each pumpkin. Then wrapped it with wire and a ribbon to finish it off.
Yay! These are great! I saw this on 2 peas also and definitely want to give it a try! Yours are super adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute and they look so simple! Yours look awesome!
ReplyDeleteOne quick question. How did you attach the cardstock for the stem? Did you just tape it? For some reason my brain can't figure out how that would be easily attached.
I left a tail of the ribbon at the top that came from the bottom to the top to tie down the paper pieces . . . then I glued the rolled up cardstock to the ribbon for the stem (then trimmed the ribbon)
ReplyDeleteThanks! That makes so much sense. I am excited to make a few of these cute little pumpkins for my house!
